Wa, I didn't realise how much I rely on the Internet until our electricity cut out this morning (meaning that my cpu had to run scandisk before it would work now -_-;;).

I also realised just how loud thunder is! I was sitting by the half-gate door (the lightest place in the house with the top open) while the rain came down, and when I stuck my head out to see the lightning (not as daft as it sounds, we're in a vally), the sprites (would you believe that that's an actual scientific term?) went right above me in the clouds and the thunder was right overhead.

I can see why the Old Folks thought it was a big man in the clouds, yelling at them. I half believed it myself.

Last year a bolt of lightning struck one of the lampposts right outside my house. The NOISE! It was so bloody loud! A huge, cracking boom. There was just a big load of glooping melted metal after that. It's been replaced now, but I'll be nowhere near there if there're more storms like last night. They say lightning never strikes the same place twice, but you never know.

I'm always afraid that it'll hit the top of the spiral stairs. Big metal pole going from the roof to ground - if we wern't in a vally then that would work as a lightning rod.

We live on a hill, so pretty much anything works as a lightning rod. Trees, lampposts, people... -_-;;

We do have very large lightning rods on top of the houses, but the lightning obviously didn't like any of them that day.

Note to self: Stay in vally during storm. -_-;;

I like thunderstorms... I like the rain more than the sun... It makes me happier for some reason... I'm reverse meteoric... I think...

Wind and rain I like. Rain that just falls on your head - not so much. ^_^ Though it is pretty cool. Sun is only so-so.

I hate the sun if it's too strong. I hate rain at all times. Wind I don't mind, but if it's cold and strong, I don't like it.

I only like the weather if it's around 22-24C, with nice sun, but not the sun that beats down on you, and the odd cloud in the sky.

I'm so fussy. 365 days in a year and we probably only get 5-10 days like that - if that.

I'm usually pretty indifferent to the weather as a rule - it's usually overcast and still. I like when there's that and a breeze.

It was raining at school today... And everyone felt sleepy... Sleepy and cold... When it's raining is one of the best times to get some sleep...
