tj_rowe...you refer to an event that took place several months ago as 'the other day'.
(As a note to myself, Lundy Island is 25km North and 25km West of Westward Ho! according to the OS map, so that means that 35km is nearly your limit for seeing land across the water.)

According to the state of my nails, I need more calcium. So have a totally non-organic recipe:
Fill up a glass with the endings of a tub of ice-cream (if you've got enough to actually get scoops, use two or three scoops depending on the size of the glass).
Add the normal amount of milkshake mix.
Pour semi-skimmed milk over the top, but don't fill up the glass completely because the ice cream will explode to the top.
Poke the ice cream with a bendy-straw, mixing the milkshake-mix in properly as you do.

I use the semi-skimmed instead of full fat because of the effect of two glasses of this - used to give me a right headache.
