Remember how my old ones kinda snapped and the lens fell put, and then at LARP last time I had them wrapped up at the side with sellotape? Today I had an eye-test for new ones, and it turns out that both eyes have gotten worse, and the balance on my old ones was way wrong. My left eye has gone from 3.25/0.25 to 4.0/0.5 (the second number is to do with astygmatism), and my right has gone 0.25 worse.

Now, wearing the new ones, I'm still having trouble working out where the floor is in relation to my feet, but reading! I was wearing the glasses, reading a textbook, doing work from the textbook, and not having eyeache! It was awesome!

Will probably be down in York over the weekend and a few days after, if there are any meet-up type things happening. I'm seeing the doctor again on Monday, and really hoping that I won't start spiralling again.
