Hi folks, what a fun life that I lead. FYI, my ff.net url is www.fanfiction.net/~tamerterra

I like writing fanfic. The characters are all there, you just have to fit them into a plot, try as hard as possible to not make them OOC while developing them at the same time, and it's fun! It's a challenge some of the time.

Some characters are easy to write, they throw their personality around in the canon so you can pretty much guess how they'd react to something. But then there's the seemingly dull characters that you don't really know very much about. Sometimes you end up trying to ignore them, and just give them one, maybe two lines in the whole thing. (Clay from Xiaolin Showdown, anyone)

And then there's Slash. It's fun to write, alright, but if you do put it in then it needs to be believable, not just 'Oh, I just noticed how hot that guy is!' (Okay, you get that in Het fics too, but still). That reminds me, I was going to type up another chapter of 'Randomly' (at the Ball and in Japan)...

What was I talking about again? Oh well, that's enough, I suppose.

Oh wait, I rememebr. I've updated 'Helpless' a few times and tagged on a bit more title ready for its translation to a double-arc.

Oh hell YES. I have trouble writing Clay's character. He's a nice guy, but ... a bit two-dimensional, as characters go. Maybe it's just because I can't be bothered to come up with those metaphors he does ... Raimundo and Jack are much easier to write because they've got such distinct personalities.

Rai and Jack were actually the characters I was thinking of when I wrote that, lol. And Katnappe in the next arc is quite easy to keep in character. And that Digimon fic that I started and then decided not to post it was ok writing Davis/Daisuke.

Eh, Daisuke's not too hard. He's loud, rash and doesn't think things through, but at the same time, he always tries to see the best in people (well, except maybe Miyako/Yolei). He deserves the Digimentals/eggs of Courage and Friendship, anyway.

Raimundo and Jack are by far the easiest to write. Wuya's pretty easy to write, as well. Omi and Kimiko are both okay to write, and so is Katnappe. Dojo too. But when it comes to Clay ... very tough. His character's kind of flat. Doesn't really shine through like all the others.

Yeah. I generally end up writing him like furniture, lol! Or he only speaks when all the others have been speaking for a while, or he yells bad taunts at Jack.

I think it's his character that we have trouble writing, rather than the accent... Though, that is rather difficult too. ^_^
