Y'know, it's funny. Days Past was on again today, and as Dolly had a friend over, I got to thinking of what a noob would think while watching that episode, and the plot seemed to move a lot quicker. It was odd.

And now Monk Master Guan is on, and I'm watching while bearing my fic in mind. It's odd how much more sense everything makes like that, LOL! The same can be applied to Days Past, now that I think...

I think Master Monk Guan works better as an episode by itself, rather than as part of the ongoing plot of season 2. It does actually make sense by itself, but with everything else that happens in s2, it feels a bit out of place, a bit too random. Too much time passes in between Wuya's defeat and Chase's debut.

It would have made much more sense if they had put MMG straight after Pandatown, and had Chase mention something about Wuya's defeat in Cit. of Doom (he went to see the monks he'd heard so much about, didn't he?). Then they should have put all the other episodes after MMG, and in Evil Within, had Chase say that he's been watching Omi ever since MMG. Because a lot of the "filler" episodes were Omi-focused, or had him doing the showdowns, so it would make sense that Chase was watching him.

Days Past... is a good episode for a noob to start, I guess, although it's not really an indicator of what every episode is like (unfortunately). Katnappe was my noob episode, and I was like, "WTF's going on here?"

Royal Rumble was mine. It was quite good - all the villians got introduced, for one. ^_^ Then I saw 'In the Flesh' and was hooked.
