tj_roweIt is an incredibly surreal experience to be reading a 'X-character wakes up in an AU' AU, and then have one's mother walk in and tell you to prepare a meal that you never have before, and then, when you point this out, the first instruction is:
"Well, you know how to brown mince...'
"No, I don't.'
WTF? Have I woken up in an AU?
"Well, you know how to brown mince...'
"No, I don't.'
