The above is my new favourite quote EVER, and not just because me and my sister used it before it was a quote.

And the American President was so George Bush. All Your Alien Are Belong To Us, ORLY. And then they blew him up. XD I mean, between the 'not only for material gain' and 'You're not the Master!' 'Okay, I will accept Mastery over you, if that is God's will...'

Complete win.

Also, there will be Jack snoggage in the season finale, because of the first and fourth episodes of Torchwood, and the results of Jack!snoggage therein. Srsly, how else will the Doctor get de-aged, unless he regenerates?

American George Bush-like president getting blown to smithereenies makes the Doctor Who series = INSTANT WIN. Was it evil for me to be happy when he asploded?

What happened in the first + fourth eps of Torchwood that will lead to Jack snoggage? I haven't seen any Torchwood eps.

I'm still wondering what happened to that Dalek. :(

I will miss Saturday's episode, because I'll be in Italy. This makes me depressed and mopey. If only BBC hadn't missed that one week cause of the bloody friggin' Eurovision Contest... Grrr. I'll have to... download it when I get back, or something.

Hee, I love the difference between how they 'tell' about him 'invading', too - '... Harold Saxon had invited President Winters to take the address...' from the BBC and 'President Winters has been Chosen to Lead The World! ...' from the American TV network. XD And then his actually addressing the camera as if 'the world' is merely an extension of America...' *cheers Master and Tochlaphane*

Actually, I'm re-watching the episode on www.tv-links.co.uk (http://www.tv-links.co.uk/show.do/1/26) right now. Is there such a document as the one that the President refers to?

First episode - succubus alien needs to absorb energy from men to survive, Jack snogs her and she overloads and explodes. Fourth episode - Ianto ends up practically dead at the hand of his Cyberman-hybrid girlfriend, Jack snogs him and he wakes up. So I'm reckoning that he can sort of pass on a bit of his extended life to other people (through snogging, because it's Jack), and that that might be how the Doctor gets de-aged.

It's definitely a good thing that the rest of the Torchwood crew are in the Himalayas, though - they are completely useless at large-scale stuff like this. *would so laugh if Rhys gets killed off in this decimation after they brought him back in the TW finale*

De-aging by snoggage. I love it! XD They've made a point of Jack's not-dying-ness, so it seems likely that that's going to be the way to restoration. But I wonder if we're going to have a new Doctor, anyway?

And the best part is that he won't be dead for long, so I can <i>kill him AGAIN</i>!!!

Hm... What happened last time we got a new Doctor, BBC-wise? *didn't watch the first season* Did they talk about it in press-things at all? *would expect that they would, after all the fuss when Rose 'died'*
