SQUEEE!!!! The preview for the next Doctor Who episode!!!! CAPTAIN JACK!!!!! (Maybe he gets a chance to return the Doctor's hand. XD) Also, I definitely heard the word 'kiss'. Captain Jack + Kissing = Win +/- hoyay. He is part of Torchwood Three, after all.

Also, in this week's ep: Tautology FTW. XD

ETA: Mum immediately tries to rain on my Torchwood parade by going all 'But he's gay'. So I use the opertunity to say 'No, omnisexual' and define terms. XD Oh, and let my dad in on the 'The hand in the jar in Torchwood Three is the hand of the Doctor's that was cut off in the first Christmas Special by the aliens on that spaceship but he regenerated right after' tidbit.

*loves at the Torchwood Three cast and desperately desperately wants more* *Even Owen* *Especially Tosh and Ianto*

And yes, I haven't been here in a while. But I've had to practically swear off laptop-ness due to exam-related stresses. Also, new icon.

*needs AAB*

*hoards all the luck she can get*

Hee! Well, JKR has this habit of killing off any character who could possibly be a good mentor, and I heard that in an interview she'd said that Harry had to go on alone. So, icon. ^_^

I just read a book 'The End of Harry Potter' by David Langford. Hilarious read and poses some interesting ideas for happenings in book 7. I can't wait to queue up at midnight for my copy and anyone who lets out a spoiler before then will die extremely painfully.

Also can't wait for next Who (*~damn the Eurovision). However, I thought Capt Jack wasn't due back until episode 10? Some confusion here.

Ooh, I saw that advertised in the book club leaflet (how old do I sound?) but I reckoned that meta-posts on LJ and HP4GU would be more interactive. XD Thematic considerations might be nice, though...

I am so going to be all about inventing 'spoilers' right before it goes on sale (i.e. three weeks before my sister buys a copy and I read it). "I completely wasn't expecting the Basilisk to come back as an Inferus and chomp off Bella's head! OMG!"

I have no idea about the scheduling wossname, only the 'sneak-peak' wossname after this week's ep. In which there was Captain Jack, Captain Jack running, and Captain Jack looking rather surprised. XD

I just found out that trailer is for the rest of the series so all explained now. Can't wait for CJ to return.

Invented spoilers are fine and provide a good deal of amusement. Genuine ones, however, will be subject to the previously stated fate. I bought aforementioned book from the book club, so I guess that makes me ready for a bus pass right? But it is well worth reading.

Ah, that's good (or not - *doesn't want to wait*). Though it is weird - since when did they do that? Usually the preview is just for the next episode.

"In the end, it turns out the Ginny Was Evil All Along. Since CoS, even. She's also a Horcrux. And a Parselmouth."

I hope that I enjoy DH more than HBP - I read HBP in three hours, so I didn't invest in any of it. And I'd read spoilers. This time, though, I'll be in Canada at time-of-release, so I have no idea when I'll get it or in what shape or what language. *will also avoid spoilers, this time*

I can't understand why they suddenly decided to do that with the trailer. You're right, they don't usually do this so I was well confused.

I read HBP pretty quick (about 4-5 hours if I remember right) as well and without spoilers. I loved it the 1st time, but agree reading it that quick doesn't do it justice. However, I had read it 3 times by the end of the week and it's now firmly up there as joint no. 1 along with PoA. Hope DH lives up to expectations.

Horcrux and Parselmouth I wouldn't bet on, but she may have retained some latent evilness.
Probably, it will turn out that Neville trips over his carefully cultivated Devil's Snare whilst carrying a sharp herbology implement which then impales Voldemort, thus fulfilling the prophecy.

"Psst! I shouldn't say this, but my cousin works for Bloomsbury, and she told me that Ron dies on page 309!"

Probably the only things that stayed in my mind while reading HBP were 'Ooh, what a useful Potions book! I bet it's his mum,' and 'Dumbledore is boring,' and 'Wait, what happened to Tom Riddle Sr?!' and 'Give Merope a break, she can't help dying, now, can she? Men. -_-;;' and 'Ginny will be evil... Now! No, damn. How about... Now! ... Now?'

Everything else was from spoilers, post-reading meta-posts and speculation. XD

I dunno, on the Horcrux thing - Diary!Tom might have-

Or not. XD

Actually, with Diary!Tom being a Horcrux, surely he would have used the other, later-made Horcruxes to stay alive in some form? Unless they didn't count as his Horcruxes because they were later-made... Anyway, it would be fun if Diary!Tom is still floating around somewhere, whether it be in Ginny's head or not.

"It wasn't Harry or Neville! The Dark Lord was right - the seventh month was September rather than July! Roman calendar, baby - the real Chsen One is the oldest person in Ginny's year, not the youngest in Harry's!"

I heard the reason they did that with the trailer was as something special for us seeing as they were pulling this week's episode due to the F*~$ing Eurovision. Personally I think they could've tried a bit harder.

Hmmm, never thought about the roman calendar. Provides a bit more interesting speculation. It seems pretty definite that diary Tom was destroyed, but I still agree that Ginny retained something. She can be pretty nasty when she feels like.
