So.. I read it. 4 words: OH. My. Freaking. God! This is so the funniest
thing I have read at all this week! I am happy to find something that is
worth-while and that it is also one of the rarer-to-find Jack/Chase
fics! Actually, more of a mild Jack/Chase... anyway please make more fics
with Chase/Jack because I luff them! ^_^ "
First: Jack v Raimundo showdown. Jack ends up crashing into something after a narrow win.
Random midget named Steven Morden appears, and tells the cast that the Writers have been replaced. He then goes on to tell the monks their new roles. Kimiko remarks that she'd better not be turned into fanservice. The midget tell her not to be silly, of course not - Raimundo will be the fanservice. What does he have to do extra? Nothing, just take his shirt off more often. Jack wants to know what he'll be. "Comic relief, of course!" "But I'm the villan!" "No, ghostly Wuya is the villan!" "What about Chase?" "He and Raimundo are the fanservice!" "What about the bean?" Clay asks. He's been having episodes sent from home, and no-one else knows what he's on about, so he shuts up.
Chase is watching them for some reason that hasn't been plotted, and hears that. Steven remarks that Chase is watching them and that that is good behavior for a fanservicey villian. This makes Chase fall out of the tree.
Later, Jack tries to steal the SGW from the vault, in an attempt to both prove that he is a serious villian and to get the SGW. Steven randomly wakes everyone up and organises how he wants the fight scene to go. This involves Kimiko and Clay doing symetrical attacks with Omi jumping over the top. And Raimundo? "Just stand there and look pretty." "But I want to fight!" "No! You'll screw it up. Just stand there, and look pretty." *angst* "Just like that!" *more angst*
Meanwhile, Chase Young is also beginning to get sick of being a purely fanservice villian, not having realised that that's all he was under the old writers anyway. So he gets Wuya back her body so that she can be the fanservice villian and he can be the proper villian. This fails as Steven uses mystical powers to confiscate the reversing mirror and send it into hammerspace.
Another showdown: Jack v Raimundo. Raimundo wins this time, winning back the SGW that he lost in the last showdown with lots of complicated looking moves. He thinks that this will make him out to be better than Steven makes out, but the victory is downplayed by the monks and by Jack. Cue angst.
Chase Young notes the other fanservice boy as a potential ally. Cue obligatory 'let's all stare at Rio scene'. Why can't they just hit Steven over the head with a shovel? Let's look at his initials backwards. A new plan is made - contact the Original Season One Writers!
Next day, the other three monks seem pretty happy with their new roles as Main Character, The Girl and The Girl's Designated Love Interest, so Raimundo 'forgets' to tell them about the plan. A showdown, Omi v Jack, feircly organised by Steven.
During the showdown, Chase and Raimundo put the plan into action. Warned already about Steven's Sue-powers, Chase provides a distraction while Raimundo calls Amy Wolfram (damn, that means that this falls slightly into RPF... Alright, they can call Sadie Tigram instead). All that is disclosed about the 'distraction' is Steven's yell of "Oh my God! Boykiss!" (XD)
The contacted writer tells Raimundo that she is unable to help, sorry. However, when he promises to go out with her self-insert, she (unofficially) reconsiders.
And that's as far as I got. Now to work on that NaNo Novel that I'm 1700 words behind on...
