Pain, still.
Nov. 29th, 2010 08:33 pmBy the time I got to uni today I was dizzy from how much my arm hurts. I went to Physics, looked at the tinetable and found that my lecture was actually in Alcuin (except, I found later, no, it was upstairs in physics), then sat down on the red sofas because it was twenty-past already and I seriously needed painkillers. Another random third year came up, saw how sick I looked and took it upon himself to watch me until the painkillers kicked in, so that was nice.
(In the end in took three hours for them to kick in properly, and then only reducing the pain by about half. Apparently I'm going to have to learn to be left-handed for a few days...) I've put deep heat on the muscle around it now I'm home, which eases bits of it but mostly makes it feel weird. I got an appointment with a nurse tomorrow morning, so hopefully I'll at least get some advice on how to make it hurt less.
And then on Thursday I'm seeing Ian again (finally), and then I've a lecture, and then Nandos with the society.
