Dec. 25th, 2005 01:05 pmI wish I could say that I'm typing this on my new Laptop, but it's charging. My sister got a bike, and I'm starting to play Emerald as I type. *presses buttons to name herself TAMAROW*
*prepares self for entry with list of Alt codes* *tries alt codes, finds that they don't work, and finds html symbol codes instead*
5 days of schischule in the Kaprun resort, Österich, followed by a free day in which me, my dad and my sister took a 2 hour snowboarding lessonwith a hot instructor.
In schischule I was in the top group with a family and another bloke. First day was MaiskÖgle after one run on the Nursery slopes, second day was Maiskögle again, third day we went over to Zell am See and I had my boots too tight, so it wasn't so good), fourth day we went up to the Kitsteinhorn glasier (which was great) and last day we went back to Maiskögle again - and it was snowing, and we went up to the top, and there were no blacks, but it was good.
I'd forgotten was beginning was like - this was my sixth week of skiing, but the first time that I'd ever tried boarding. Bloody hell, shallow slopes are hard, especially if you aren't too good at shoving off without falling. -_-
Then on last day, which was also Xmas Eve, we went to the Xmas market in Salzburgwhere I bought my mum's prezzie because I'd forgotten earlier.
Speaking of prezzies, I got my sister a horoscope calender (Tauros), a wristband and chocolate; I got my dad a 'Lost' walkthorough and chocolate.
We were having a good discussion on the way back about the economy and how China was taking over all the markets and how it was good that we have the US as allies even if Bush's resemblance to Forrest Gump was a little worrying.
( To finish, a fanbrat 'review' to 'Wake up Jack!' that I just found. )
Some folk just can't handle their slash. XD Sorry that I 'disturded' the poor thing...
Oh, and I bought a copy of 'Going Postal' in German. I want to try and see if I can read it. In other, unrelated news, I got the English version for Xmas.
