Find your Celestial Choir
As an aside, can anyone remember the missing sin? I've got Lust, Wrath, Envy, Greed, Sloth, Pride... What's the other one?
I just finished reading 'The Lucifer Code' (Last week's bestseller list). It's good. Though it kinda annoyed me that Amber was preggers at the end, but that wasn't important. It was really fun to try to work out what Soames' agenda was. ^_^

Gluttony. And please stop freaking me out... *Twilight Zone*
[Edit] Oh, I see you've already got an answer. The difference between greed and gluttony might be easier to understand if you look at their opposites within the Seven Holy Virtues. That is, the opposite of Greed is Liberality, a willingness to give; the opposite of Gluttony is Abstinence or moderation, self control. Does that help?

(No wonder I didn't get all of them, lol)

That boldness one is weird. The rest I get, though.

The oppsite of "lust" is "boldness" but it means "embracing of moral wholesomeness and achieving purity of thought through education and betterment." So the sin of lust isn't specifically wanting to have sex with every man/boy/fencepost in town (and half the women/girls/punchbowls too) but it's impurity of thoughts.

Gah, I'm still seeing Lust and Gluttony as being the same... Maybe it'll make more sense in the morning...

Well, this list is in order of, um... sanctity? By which I mean importance basically. Lust is at the top, and gluttony is below it by a bit. Lust has to do with your thoughts, and gluttony has to do with your actions and choices. Controlling lust, obviously, is more important because our actions and words tend to spring from our thoughts.
Does that help?
