Dashi's PoV is the easiest one for the personalities that I want to portray - Wuya is inherently Good in his eyes, and he pays a lot less attention to Chase than perhaps he ought. Also, he likes Plot Points. A new Plot Point = the equivalent of turning over a new leaf; another chance to get things right and maybe become a hero.
Wuya's PoV is fun, but not as useful. She finds plot points a nuisance because she's naturally lazy and likes to have fun. ^_^ Then again, I do have her having an inconsistent personality as being a major part of her character.
Chase... I don't think I've completely 'got' Chase, yet. I've got his pastimes and Mysterious Past, but his current motivations elude me. *sigh*
Statswise: 524 an Herbal Tea now make up half of my ff.net wordcount. XD And, because I am a complete wanker, I must also make note of the fact that there are 33 hits and 0 reviews on the last chapter of 524.
I've finally figured out why hpslashnotsmut is giving me so much trouble: The giftee has asked for a historical reimagining or play on a folk tale with no character death, but the characters that I have to work with are all first or second war. And all the folk tales I know are both decades/centuries ago, het, AND have one or other or both of the characters dying.
i.e. The White Hare (both cornish and irish versions), The Hairy Hands (of Dartmoor), Jay's Grave, Torrington 1646 and the Church mass grave... They're all ghost stories!
*sigh* Now I just need to figure out what to do about it...
