Well, I've just come back from an audition for a musical run by the Royal National Theatre London, 'Featherboy'. There's only five 6th Formers who turned up (me, Zaz, Lottie, Pheds and Mills), s we were automatically in if we could make the rehersals, or if we couldn't. XD We're the 'Old Persons' Chorus, and we have lines in one scene, maybe two.

Hey, why bother going for a part with lots of lines, that a lot of younger folk with more free time to learn lines with are going for? I mean, we have timetabled lessons Biology) at the same time as the Tuesday rehersales, and some of the weekend ones there's races on.

Ollie has a pink scarf that he wears constantly. It's funny cuz he has a girlfriend. ^_^ Though... Hailey keeps saying that me and him are like a married couple. >_<

Guess who just won NaNo? That's right, Tamer did! I found myself at 49920 this afternoon, when I finished so I added an epilougue to make up the 80 words, and went past by 200 odd. Now to squee like a fangirl:

All right, I'm done now. ^_^ But I will stick the full story up on ficwad (with an editted-with-chainsaw version on fictionpress).

Damn, that was annoying.

Well, they're re-running the Avatar episodes now - I'm not sure if I missed the very first one, but at least they're showing some at a time when I can get to the TV (i.e. after 17:20).
The art style is very much like DBZ, IMO, but with more frames per second. And it reminds me of Shaman King a bit, too.
Addition: I did miss the first one.

I've also started watching Danny Phantom. It's all right, but nothing to get excited about.

3000 words behind on my NaNo. This is going to take longer than just the weekend to catch up with...

I love our Physics-Biology group. By that I mean folk who do both. The Geography group are on a trip, so we lost all the fundies, most of whom don't do Physics. (I wonder why... XD) Hence, we had a good lesson. Between Zahra and Harriet... *giggle*

There was one question I was going back and forth on, and when I picked the other answer I got Moofy.

As it was nighttime when i got back last night (duh), I continue.

Saw Ellie (she used to go to Dance with me, Sam and Kirsty, and her brother was doing the sound), the 'Science of Juggling' talk was good (and we made juggling balls in physics instead of investigating the wavelength of light XD).

Well, now it's half term! Tuesday we're going to London, so I've set up a phone-based email account (tamerterra@vodafone.net) just in case. We're staying near Piccadilly station, and Merrry is dragging us around the shops. Fuuun... The last time I was in London I was ill - full on CAN NOT SWALLOW ill - the whole time, so... yeah.

And then there's a Judo grading right before we go back to school. As in the Sunday night right before. Hope I get my blue - though I need for my Senior Licence to come through the post first.

I love our biological in-jokes. Take that, DME, ox-bow lake and whatever else the geography lot go on about in their abreviations! We snigger at the word 'hydroskeleton', and you don't know why!

In other news, people giving mixed messages depending on their blood-sugar level is bloody annoying. Bloody bloody annoying.

Yup, the Royal Engineers came to our school to day to tell us about themselves and to hold a team building exercise.

I know this isn't the point but... WE SO WON!

Had to build a crane, 1.5m tall, 0.5m stretched, with some kind of cog and jam mechanism, in 75mins - we finished half and hour before everyone else, and it stayed up even when Ollie almost fell on it and when the Army guy poked it repeatedly.

I got a mug.

...that the fundie Christians are attacking the wrong part of the origin of life. Instead of asking how likely it is that the components of amino acids would come together and get shocked into reacting, they should be asking why the one bent molecule that all life hangs on is bent. That would lead to some uncomfortable silences.

Yeah, we started the Bio-chem module yesterday.

Also, my sister is writing a speech about Hurricane Katrina for the Inter-House Speech Day Competition. She might not get into the final though - she's stringing a good bit of politics into it - and asked me to help - which might affect the judging. Dunno who's judging - I hope it's Dr. Cane again... Though it'll probably be the new Speech and Drama teacher.

So, that was the first day of 6th Form. Only one lesson got fitted in with all the admin, so I don't know yet how intense the work is going to be yet.

Apparently, according to the Headmaster, our year got the highest GCSE results that they've ever had. Our Physics teacher has been telling us that we would, lol.

And now, Squeak seems to be fixated on my necklace. Do you know how hard it is to type when there's a kitten climbing all over you, watching the keyboard and occaisionally taking swats at various stringy bits of clothes (and sleeves)?

Damn. I've got Three Sciences and P.E. Pheds is doing P.E (and Performing Arts, lucky bitch), and Lottie's doing the Sciences and Maths - Claire's doing P.E. too. Milly claims to have had no clashes whatsoever in her timetabling.

Though Short's mum kinda made me feel like a traitor when she said that he had been using my want to do Music Technology in his argument to get that and Maths out of the same block. Meh, I suppose.

Gah, I've been having to decide which AS level's to take - at the beginning of the day my choices were Chem, Bio, Physics and German/Music Tech/P.E. It was also another one of those thunderstorms, and we had no electricy. -__-;;

Now, I've found out that they definetly are not running the German course at my college. Also, I cannot get all the way to North Devon (read: Barnstaple) in the hour between a timetabled Chem lesson in the morning and the start of the class that I'd be going there to go to.

In other words, with regards to German, I'm stuffed (like a bloody Christmas Turkey).

So I have to pick between Tech or PE. I'll probably do PE. It's more useful.
