Teh ebillous Ten Things Meme - an RL post.
I know this is a horrid, horrid meme, but it's the new year and some things need to be said. Under an LJ-cut, because LJ is for angst and drama.
1) I know we have fun, but half the time I can't tell if you're in your right mind or not, and that worries me. Can we talk when you're sober, please?
2) Sometimes I wish you were more bothered about things, but other times it's what I like best about you. You seem completely impervious to offence, but I do wonder if that isn't just a 'seeming'.
3) I don't know you very well yet, and I wish I did. Talk about yourself more, damnit!
4) I don't know if you've noticed, but the little phrases that you use like water bother me, a lot, though I know you don't think they mean anything. I did try to impress that on you once, but I think you might have forgotten, or thought that I wasn't serious.
5) You both scare me and intrigue me. I would say 'stop it', but then you wouldn't be you.
6) Sorry I keep acting out of turn. I know it bothers you, but I'm not sure how to stop. I wish I could say this properly to your face, but I'm afraid to drag it up again. You're a beautiful person, and I don't want to hurt you or make you uncomfortable. I was wrong.
7) You make me concerned about role models, but only sometimes. People are all like someone else, but they're also like other people, and other people, so everything balances out. You make me think about what I'm doing, which is good.
8) I actually look up to you, or that might just be your character. Either way, I'm glad you're around.
9) I never know when I'm stepping over the line with you; you seem to operate in a similar way to me, but I don't want to presume. And I'm not sure you'd even understand the question if I tried to explain it.
10) Oh my gods, just stop talking! I know your life seems important to you, and if I counted myself a 'normal person' I'd have more patience, but you need to stop using slurs as jokes. When it's used consciously it works as humour, but you don't seem to even realise that what you say is offensive.
In other news, I'm coming back to York on the 1500 train on the 2nd. So, get into York at quarter to eight, then bus. Right.
And I come bearing comics. XD
