Fic: Drabble for Percy
He'd always thought that Dumbledore could protect them.
Fifth year had proved him wrong, though. His girlfriend had been petrified, as had his little brother's second-best friend... What had Dumbledore done? He'd let himself be taken away, and hadn't stopped the attacks.
He'd kept believing, for a while. Dumbledore would do something before anything else happened, and the attacks would... stop.
The Minister had at least tried to do something, even if it wasn't effective.
But when a second-year boy found the Chamber of Secrets, killed the basilisk and rescued his sister, Percy lost all faith in Dumbledore. That shouldn't have happened.
